Hello Everyone:
This is the first blog of a new church plant in the works for Las Vegas in 2011. Barry Tweedy, along with his family and me (Neal Creecy) will be moving to Vegas in January 2011 to start Redemption Baptist Church. I am looking forward to seeing what God is going to do through this plant. Over the next few weeks we will be updating this website with more information about the church plant as well as the church planting team.
We do have a few prayer requests we would like to share so that folks can be praying:
1. Barry and I will be traveling to Las Vegas March 8-13. We are hoping to film a promotional video that we can share with churches. Please pray that the Lord would provide us people with the equipment and expertise in order to make a professional video.
2. During our trip in March, we will be looking at housing and schools. Pray that the Lord would show us what neighborhood He desires for us to plant our lives.
3. Please pray that we would continue to build partnerships with churches who want to be a part of this work.

I've never seen a church plant from the ground up and I'm looking forward to watching how God works. Redemption Baptist is already in my prayers as we seek God's guidance for our mission trip to the area and the possibility of promoting the church while we are there. I am praying for a safe, productive and God-honoring trip for you next week also. By the way, I love the logo.
